Barre, VT — With the increasingly poor forecast calling for rain and cold temperatures in Barre on Sunday, Thunder Road and American-Canadian Tour officials have moved the Community Bank, N.A. program to Saturday, May 4 with racing action set to start at 5:30pm. Originally scheduled for Sunday, the forecasted cold temperatures would hamper any track drying efforts with rain said to roll into the area any time after 10:00am pushing officials to move the program to Saturday’s full slate of events.

Oxford, ME — The persistent spring rains once again aggravated officials, teams and fans of the American-Canadian Tour during the start to the 2024 season on their return to Oxford Plains Speedway. While early morning rains dried off, grey clouds returned just after the halfway point of the American-Canadian Tour special and added area-wide lightning threats pushed both ACT and Oxford Plains officials to end the program early with the ACT Pine Tree State event official after completing 65 of the originally scheduled 125 laps.

Northeast Classic Winner Disqualified for Engine Infraction

Redline Performance Out of ACT Engine Program for One Calendar Year

Barre, VT — Following the conclusion of the Northeast Classic at New Hampshire Motor Speedway on Sunday, three engines were taken by American-Canadian Tour technical officials to an independent engine builder for further inspection. Following that inspection, the Redline Performance engine used by apparent winner Jesse Switser and the #25NH team was deemed to have had multiple infractions, this will result in the #25NH being disqualified from the win.

This discovery of multiple infractions has also prompted officials to eliminate Redline Performance, based in Hallowell, Maine, from the American-Canadian Tour Approved Engine Builders list for one calendar year.

Barre, VT & Naples, ME — After watching the forecast, American-Canadian Tour (ACT) and Pro All Stars Series (PASS) officials have pushed the Northeast Classic back by one day this coming weekend. Instead of the originally scheduled Friday Practice and Saturday Race dates originally scheduled, the Northeast Classic will now begin with Practice Day on Saturday, April 13 and the 4th annual Northeast Classic will now be contested on Sunday, April 14. As such, camping will also be pushed back one day and campers can start parking on Friday, April 12 from 4:00pm to 7:30pm.
